EPS Turns 7!

Seven years ago, I started a business with a 7 month old baby and no real idea what the next seven years would hold.

At the time, I thought running a business was about having a good idea, working hard and creating something of my own.

What I didn't realise was that entrepreneurship would become one of the biggest personal development journeys of my life.

Over the last seven years, there have been incredible highs. Opportunities I never imagined, amazing clients, a growing team, lifelong friendships, milestones worth celebrating and moments that made all the hard work feel worthwhile.

But there have also been sleepless nights, tough decisions, setbacks, mistakes, uncertainty, self-doubt and more lessons than I can count.

The kind of moments that test your resilience and make you question everything.

What I've learned is that business ownership isn't a straight line. It's messy, unpredictable and often much harder than it looks from the outside. There are seasons where everything seems to fall into place, and others where you're simply putting one foot in front of the other. Both are part of the journey.

When I started this business 1 July 2019, Andie wasn't even 8 months old. Seven years later, she's nearly 8 years old, and somewhere along the way, the business, Andie and I have all grown up together,

The business has evolved. The services we offer have changed. I've had incredible people join the team, and I've had to say goodbye to others. I've celebrated wins I never thought possible, and faced challenges I never imagined either. But through it all, one thing has remained the same: I keep showing up.

Seven years later, I still don't have it all figured out. I'm still learning, still adapting, still making hard decisions and still showing up anyway.

So today isn't just about celebrating seven years in entrepreneurship. It's about celebrating resilience. The ability to keep showing up, even when the path ahead isn't completely clear.

And for that, I'm proud.
